Our New Missionary Interns!

{mosimage}Alissa Sheehan, 23, was born and raised in Coppell, Texas, suburb of Dallas. She graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in May 2011 with a degree in Global Affairs and a concentration in Latin America. In the future, she hopes to work for an international organization that provides aid to developing countries in the areas of community development and education.

In her spare time, Alissa enjoys coaching volleyball, hanging out with friends, reading, going to the movies with her mom, and watching Dallas sports teams. She attends the First United Methodist Church of Coppell and is excited for their mission team to come this March!

Alissa recently spent six weeks in San Jose, Costa Rica attending language school and living with a Costa Rican family. She is excited for this new adventure and cultural experience!
{mosimage} Molly Kretzer is a 24-year-old from Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, specializing in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish in May 2011. She wants to eventually work in the field of international marketing.

Molly loves photography, cooking (more so eating), traveling, reading and being with her friends and family. She finds guilty pleasure in cheesy TV shows and reality TV.

Molly comes to Costa Rica to work at el Centro Rural Metodista, which she is familiar with thanks to two visits to the camp with her hometown church, East Heights United Methodist. She hopes to share and grow in her faith while helping the people of Costa Rica. She thanks God for the opportunity to both get on the right path at a crucial milestone in her life, as well as further develop her Spanish. She plans to be at the camp until May of 2012.
